Is this the end of the biggest boyband in the world? One Direction fans all over are asking this very question months after the band announced a hiatus that was expected to last 18 months. The question surfaced when Liam Payne and Louis Tomlinson seem to be teaming up without the other members of the band.
Last year, loyal fans of the band were already heartbroken when one of the founding members, Zayn Malik, announced his separation from the rest of the crew. Zayn went on to release his own album with the title "Mind of Mine" and his debut single "Pillowtalk" went on to become a success, both with the critics and with the public.
But it seems that the two members, Liam and Louis, are not really planning to leave the group. They just want to make the most of their free time and be bring about some creative output. According to Sun, a newly-composed song with the title "Something That Scares Me About Love" was co-written by the pair.
It' s been a big year for members of One Direction despite their hiatus. Harry Styles has not only signed with their label as a solo artist but is even giving acting a try, debuting in a Christopher Nolan film that will show on 2017. Niall Horan has also signed as a solo artist for Capitol Records, and recently released "This Town", his first single.
Teen Vogue also reported that Liam has signed with Republic Records. Does this mean that the new song he and Louis wrote will be on his solo album? This will be a good break for Liam, who has been in the news because of his girlfriend, Cheryl, whose divorce was finalized recently.
Whether or not the song will appear on Liam's upcoming album or not, Directioners will surely support their favorite artists as they pursue their goals as solo stars.
