Stephen Curry has another reason to celebrate in addition to winning the NBA Finals against LeBron James' Cleveland Cavaliers and being named the MVP - the birth of his second child, a cute and adorable bouncing baby girl. In a blog post written by Stephen's wife, Ayesha, the couple revealed that they welcomed the newest addition to their growing family on Friday, according to E Online.
"God is amazing," Ayesha wrote in her blog post, titled "Enjoying the 'Present,'" referring to the bundle of joy who recently joined her family. Stephen's wife also informed her fans and followers of the news via Twitter, sharing a glimpse of their new daughter. She added, "The gift of life is truly an indescribable thing. We were fortunate enough to experience it all over again Friday night!"
Apart from revealing that her second baby with the Golden State Warriors player "arrived perfectly healthy and happy," the now mother of two also disclosed the wonderful name the couple chose to give their second daughter: Ryan Carson Curry.
Further sharing details on the birth of baby Ryan, Ayesha admitted that Riley Curry's baby sister was born earlier than expected. Ayesha wrote, "She arrived a little early through a quick 3 hour labor and was a small 6lbs 1 oz." Stephen's wife also disclosed her joy over the fact that she was able to give birth without an epidural - that is, Ryan's birth was all natural. Ayesha shared, "This (natural child birth) is something I've always wanted to do and was so happy to get through it with the help of my darling husband and amazing doctor."
As baby Ryan is the second baby of the couple, Ayesha revealed that her experience during her first pregnancy allowed her to be better equipped this time around. She said, "This time around I felt more prepared and was able to take in the entire process. It was a miracle!"
"Stephen, Riley and I are enjoying this gorgeous gift from God and basking in the present! We are now officially a family of 4!" Ayesha gushed in her blog post. She also took the opportunity to reveal that her first daughter, two-year-old Riley, is truly stepping up in her role as big sister to baby Ryan.
Ayesha wrote, "Riley is completely enamored with her little sister and has taken on her role as big sister beautifully. I am already so proud of her!" Prior to the blog post, Stephen also took to social media to subtly hint on the birth of their second child. He wrote on Twitter, "My wife is a champ!"
