Despite the tear-jerking return of WWE Legend, Goldberg and the loud cheers of the entire wrestling universe, The Beast-Incarnate, Brock Lesnar still remains silent on Goldberg's response to their potential match on Survivor Series.
Two weeks ago, Lesnar's manager, Paul Heyman, called out "The Myth" and challenged him to a fight with "The Beast" which could go down as possibly one for the ages. In his speech, which was aired live on WWE Monday Night Raw, Heyman called out "The Icon" and asked the entire crowd what if everyone could experience Goldberg again even for just one night.
A week after, Goldberg made a stunning return to the ring, and emphatically responded to the challenge. "The Icon" fiercely said, "Brock Lesnar, not only does that mean that you're next. But most importantly, it means Brock Lesnar, you're last," according to news found in Independent.co.uk
Goldberg's strong words resonated throughout the whole WWE universe, which kept people excited for their potential bout. However, Lesnar's return to Monday night RAW was rather a silent one as he kept his mouth shut while Paul Heyman addressed the crowd.
Paul Heyman in his mean words said, "Those chants are really starting to piss Brock Lesnar off." He added that Goldberg will be like Humpty Dumpty once he will be beaten, victimized and conquered by "The Beast," as reported in The Sun.co.uk.
Goldberg's legacy may never be unmatched as he became famous because of his 173-match undefeated streak in WCW. On the other hand, Brock Lesnar has been an unstoppable foe in WWE since his return on 2012 and there can never be an opponent that can stand on his way.
However, Goldberg is there. The last time these heavy-weights faced each other was 12 years ago where Goldberg stood on top over Lesnar during the Wrestlemania XX.
Question is, can Goldberg be the superhero against the formidable foe of Lesnar and the Suplex City? Or can Lesnar rewrite the whole story and see another rivalry begin?
