Shirlene Amber Quigley, 32 years old went missing on the night of the October 22 at the Port Authority bus station in New York City. His father, who would always get a call from her daughter found it odd that he did not hear from her that night and grew concerned. Soon after the authorities made their search, Shirlene's cell phone was discovered on a Bridal shop near Chelsea.
Her father stated in an interview with NBC New York that his daughter, Shirlene have been acting a bit "euphoric" lately, followed by a strange message sent by her daughter to one of her friends.
Shirlene Quigley is known to be a professional dancer who was featured in Beyonce's "Crazy In Love" video and have toured with Beyonce on 2008 - she was 18 then. Shirlene's work also included dancing for Rihanna, Jamie Foxx, Mary J. Blige, Ashanti and Missy Elliot.
When Rihanna heared about the news she immediately posted on Instagram to get people's attention and to ask for prayers for the missing dancer. According to Rihanna, Shirlene Quigley was a beautiful soul.
On Shirlene Quigley's official website and blog she was not only vocal about her passion for dancing but also about her devotion to her religion. She would post messages on social media about how she loves God and that we should reach out to God and on her blog she called herself a "woman of God". In an interview, her father talked about Shirlene's religion and said that she attended the Liberty Church in Brooklyn.
Friends, relatives, students and the dance community have been posting on social media, spreading awareness and asking for help and information about Shirlene Quigley's whereabouts. The have also started a social media campaign to help find her.
