"The Voice" Knockout Round's first face off is between Bindi Liebowitz and Courtney Harrell from Blake Shelton's team. Songwriter and background singer Courtney shined bright as her own star while singing a Tina Turner classic "River Deep Mountain High." Bindi, our slight underdog, took on another classic "Son Of A Preacher Man." Coach Blake of "The Voice" got up on his feet and voted for Courtney, who amazingly hit powerful high notes. Bindi unfortunately wasn't strong enough to be saved by other coaches and had to be sent home.
Adam Levine's team was next to face off for the Knockout Round, with Billy Gilman and Ponciano Seoane taking up the challenge. Apparently, Billy was the youngest person to have a Top 40 Country hit. With one of the strongest voices in the competition, he's back. He chose Rachel Platten's hit "Fight Song," reflecting the struggle he's going through to get back at the top.
Pociano, who is a new father, sang Ed Sheeran's "I See Fire" using his own acoustic guitar to take on Billy. Sadly, Adam chose the one time prodigy over Pociano, as Billy showed off some of the most powerful pipes, making him one of the frontrunners on the show.
Alicia Keys' team took on the stage next, with Belle Jewel facing off against the ever happy Christian Cuevas. The original Belle hit it off with guest coach Tim McGraw. She revealed she had gone to his concert when she was eight and had the best day of her life because he kissed her hand. She chose the Crowded House 1980's hit "Don't Dream It's Over," putting her own unique spin to it.
Christian later on revealed he used to have Tim's signature cologne. The loveable singer from Orlando chose to sing Luther Vandros' version of "Superstar" to win them over. Tim and Faith Hill were both impressed by the velvety smoothness of his voice.
Miley Cyrus, one of the newest judges/coach for season 11 of "The Voice," thought Belle did an amazing job but couldn't stop talking about Christian's singing and felt like he was singing right to her. On the other hand, Adam said he was obsessed with Christian's voice. Alicia agreed with her fellow coaches picking Christian to move on. But Miley shocked everyone by using her last steal on the uniquely talented Belle, saving Belle and saying that she was inspired by her sense of style. Miley definitely got a good steal right there!
