The LG Android 7.0 Nougat operating system is hitting the user shelves soon, tailing Google Nexus devices' present Android 7.1 Nougat operating system. The LG Android 7.0 Nougat will be available in models G5, V10, and G3.
The information on the release of LG Android 7.0 Nougat on its devices was first hinted at by Australian carrier Optus. The first LG flagship product that will bear the LG Android 7.0 Nougat natively will be the LG V20. This phone is set to hit consumer shelves by Oct. 28.
Aside from the V20, rumors are also swirling that LG Android 7.0 Nougat upgrades on the operating system can also be expected from LG V10 and LG G3 in succeeding months. As of press time, the LG company spokespersons have not yet formally verified these reports regarding the LG Android 7.0 Nougat schedule.
LG Android 7.0 Nougat's schedule is timely considering that more and more technical details are surfacing regarding the Android 7.1 Nougat release for Nexus. Android Police reports that the changelog for Android 7.1's Pixel phones are recently revealed publicly. Technical phone insiders can now pore into the innards of the latest Android OS to hit the market.
With what is considered Android's "sweetest release" among its plethora of OS versions, Android 7.0 Nougat has a lot of specs that are being looked forward to by Android smartphone fans globally.
Some of the features include 1,500 emoji expressions, better user interface with easy switching between apps, Vulka API high-performance 3D graphics capability, virtual reality mode for Daydream-ready handsets, data-saving options, file-based encryptions for security, and stronger battery power.
Aside from LG, other competitors are following suit in keeping up with the Android Nougat 7.0 trend for smartphones. OnePlus, Motorola, and HTC already presented their own timelines for their customers to expect the Nougat update.
Weeks before the LG Android 7.0 Nougat reports surfaced online, the official Android Twitter page promoted their latest OS via Twitter on National Desserts Day last Oct. 14.
