‘Clash of Clans’ Halloween Update Now Live: Why You Should Not Pass On This Optional Update

It's another excellent time to launch an update for "Clash of Clans." This Halloween, Supercell has released an optional update for the popular mobile game, and you don't want to say no to this COC update.

The "Clash of Clans" version 8.551.18 introduces new features that would only be available for a limited time. These include Halloween theme, Boost Spell brewing for one gem and cheaper and faster training for Skeleton Spells, Witches, Balloons and Wall Breakers. The "Clash of Clans" team also warns of spooky surprises popping up this Halloween.

Along with the limited features, the "Clash of Clans" Halloween update also includes several bug fixes. One of which is a bug related to the army training drag and drop feature, wherein the previous "Clash of Clans" app version will have the dragging in training disabled. To make the training work again, COC players need to update to the new version.

Clans can also now receive Friendly War invites even when the clan is set to "Closed." Elders will no longer see the Accept/Reject button for a Friendly War invite in the Clan chat, which removes the hassle because only the Leader or Co-Leader can accept or reject the invite anyway. Another improvement is when the players long press on the Clan Castle troop icon during battle, it will display the troop contents. The full list of fixes can be seen here.

Meanwhile, as Parent Herald previously learned, there is said to be a trick that would award players a staggering 450 gems. The premium trick involves unlocking the fourth builder, attacking in multiplayer mode and going to war. The 450 gems are yours after winning 1,250 trophies, plus 10 gems after destroying 100 Town Halls.
