'Hunter X Hunter' Chapter 361 Manga Cancelled? 2017 Return Uncertain As Togashi's Condition Worsen, Can Wife Save The Manga?

There had been rumors about the return of "Hunter X Hunter" Chapter 361 on 2017 but this is contradicted with the circulating stories about the manga's alleged cancellation. This is linked to the health condition of its creator, Yoshihiro Togashi.

Reports indicate that the recurring back pain of Togashi isn't improving. As a matter of fact, it hinders him from working on the manga. This creates rumblings that there will no longer be "Hunter X Hunter" Chapter 361.

But then, other reports are saying that Togashi's wife, Naoko Takeuchi will take over and help him to finish the anime. Like Togashi, Taekuchi is also a manga artist who worked on Sailor Moon, a famous anime in the 90s. With that, there is a chance that it will be released next year

New writers and manga artists were even hired to work on "Hunter X Hunter" but it seems that they are no match for the talent of Togashi. It is expected that Taekuchi will be able to achieve the level of creativity of her husband because this might be the only way to save the manga and the anime.

Meanwhile, the hiatus of "Hunter X Hunter" Chapter 361, also has a huge effect on the anime version. Apparently, it is one of the most awaited episodes but it has already taken a long break. Fans of the show are worried that they will no longer see a follow up of its latest episode because there isn't any manga release yet, wherein the show is based. Speculations reveal that the show runners may end up canceling the series.

Even if it isn't certain yet that the manga and the anime will be released this year or on 2018, at least fans are given a light of hope knowing that Togashi's wife may take over.

But is she really going to illustrate the anime? Or is it even true that Togashi is facing health problems? Or is he merely choosing not to work on "Hunter X Hunter" Chapter 361 after all?
