Niklaus Mikaelson or Klaus (Joseph Morgan) takes center stage at season 4 of "The Originals". As the title depicts, the lead actor's return to the French Quarter of New Orleans along with members of the ancient vampires known as "The Originals" features struggles against a painstakingly painful condition after being cursed in season 3.
What's odd is the speculation that Klaus life will ultimately be cut short in "The Originals." As the star of the new season, it could be impossible knowing that the story will evolve towards the life of the main character. It is hard to believe that season 4 will be the shortest ever episode of "The Originals."
But hold on, did they not announce that this new season will have a 5-year jump? There's hope in Hope (Summer Fontana), Klaus' daughter in "The Originals". Possessing the extraordinary strength of a werewolf, the determination of the witch and longevity of a vampire, she is more than capable rescuing her father from the untimely death.
Hope also can totally take over his dominance in "The Originals" as she advances in age for season 4. Another possibility is the implied transfer of "The Originals" from The CW to ABC TV network. Die-hard fans will not have problems switching channels if they know of the plan in advance. Just need a little tweaking in getting used to the new channel if ever, implies the Vampire Diaries.
Are these rumors necessary for "The Originals"? Well, if producers wanted it halted, then killing the main character will do the job easily. Looking back 3 years ago, "The Originals" has been the strongest performer among the vampire rookies gaining two million viewers immediately during the initial stage, according to TV Guide.
It contributed greatly to the 2.6 million latest inputs of The Vampires Diary at that time. So, moving channels will be unlikely because of the show's rising statistics among the 18 to 49 demographic. Perhaps, "The Originals" just need some kind of unpredictable twists to lure viewers even more. Thus, the reason for these publicized uncertainties. Don't you think?
