'Five Nights at Freddy's 4' Trailer Out! Release Date Moved Up [Details]

"Five Nights at Freddy's 4" fans will be excited with the latest update of their favorite horror game as Scott Cawthon, the indie developer behind the fun and terrifying survival series, has just announced that the fourth game will be moving its released date earlier on August 8 for the game's first-year anniversary, Cinema Blend has learned.

According to the report, initially, the release of the fourth installment was set on Halloween through a teaser image of Freddy Fazbear, one of the animatronic robots.

Cawthon announced the new release date in an e-mail sent to Razzbowski, 8-Bit Gaming and other FNaF streamers, which said, "I'm going to release Five Nights at Freddy's 4 on August 8th for the 1-year anniversary of Five Nights at Freddy's. To keep the Halloween date special however, I'll be working on a free update with extra content to release October 31st. I also plan on having a trailer ready for next weekend!"

Usually, one of the hardest part of online gaming is waiting for the update or next downloadable content of their favorite game, but such case is not too difficult for the "Five Nights at Freddy's" fans because Cawthon has been consistent in producing a steady stream of sequel since he first launched the game in 2014, CNET reports.

Initially, the terror happens at the restaurant named Freddy Fazbear's Pizza, which was claimed to have the nation's worst occupational safety hazard record for security guards. In this chapter, the horror is brought to a place where everyone used to think is safe—one's home. Based on the trailer [watch it below], the setting is an ordinary-looking house. It features sinister shots of the different parts of the house including the living room, bedroom and closet with a hint of a creature stalking at the camera, as if he is waiting to attack anytime while the trailer asks, "What game are you playing?" and "What have you brought home?"

What makes it more creepy is the teaser's suggestion to close the door, open the closet and watch one's back, giving gamers some major goosebumps.

If the fourth installment will be the last chapter of the game, fans can still see more of Fazbear in the future as Cawthon is currently working with Warner Bros. to film the franchise, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

The adaptation will be produced by Roy Lee (Vertigo Entertainment) together with Seth Grahame-Smith and David Katzenberg (KatzSmith Productions).
