Jimmy Fallon Headed to Rehab? 'The Tonight Show' Host Might Be Replaced As NBC Concerned Fallon's Drinking Is Out Of Control?

Is the curtain closing for "The Tonight Show" host Jimmy Fallon as rumors of his excessive drinking are at an all-time high? Sources say that his drunken antics are too much that executives at NBC are instructing him to cut back, or certain measures will be taken.

According to Page Six, an insider from the network NBC claimed that "The Tonight Show" host could be out of control when out drinking. An executive even feared that actor and host Jimmy Fallon was even on the brink of separating from his wife, but they have since worked things out as they have two kids after all.

Fallon has had a series of injuries that were associated with his drinking, from severing his finger to chipping his tooth. A report by Toronto Sun claimed that witnesses have seen Fallon alone at various bars in New York City, looking inebriated at 3:00 in the morning.

A source claims that Fallon's excessive drinking may be due to the transfer of some worker in "The Tonight Show" to "The Late Late Show". Apparently, Fallon feels nervous with James Corden, the successful host who made Carpool Karaoke hugely popular. The transfer of some of his people to his rival's show has made him turn to booze to drink his worries away.

This comes as a surprise as "The Tonight Show" starring Jimmy Fallon is currently number one in the ratings. Fallon has been hosting "The Tonight Show" since 2014, following other late show hosts Johnny Carson, Jay Leno and Conan O'Brien.

But despite the rumors of his alcohol abuse, "The Tonight Show" host is still supported by NBC Chairman Bob Greenblatt. The executive still considers Jimmy Fallon as an asset to the network and is actually looking forward to seeing the actor-host the Golden Globes this January.
