The excitement for the highly anticipated "Grand Theft Auto 6" will be further fueled as new reports provide clearer direction for the upcoming installment of "GTA." Game developer Rockstar Games seems to be preparing to release something bigger for the fans, and the previously rumored cancellation of "Grand Theft Auto 6" does not seem to matter anymore.
Discussions in the GTA Forums now revolve around the DLC that has allegedly leaked for the online version of "Grand Theft Auto." The release date of the DLC was discussed, hinting on several launch schedules.
In the forum, it was noted that the anticipated "Grand Theft Auto 6" will most likely come out "sometime around 2020 at the VERY latest," with an emphasis on "at the VERY latest." Fans of "Grand Theft Auto 6" will have to be more patient in waiting for this exciting game. This is a better update than the previous rumor of cancellation of "Grand Theft Auto 6."
Meanwhile, fans of "Grand Theft Auto 6" will have to enjoy the online version of "GTA" as this seems to come out first. The forum mentioned about the online map expansion of San Fierro and Las Ventures for the GTA online, which has an expected release of October 2018. Whereas, the Liberty City online map expansion has been scheduled to be released in September 2017, WWG reported.
In another report, the release date for "Grand Theft Auto 6" might not be able to follow the usual five-year gap of Rockstar Games in the GTA series. The new installment of GTA is reportedly arriving with a VR feature, which is an additional delay factor.
Furthermore, the huge budget requirement for the anticipated "Grand Theft Auto 6" might also be a constraint for Rockstar Games as the current "Grand Theft Auto 5" has cost multi-million dollars and the upcoming "Grand Theft Auto 6" would have cost more because of its added features and latest developments.
Instead of a 2018 release following Rockstar Games' 5-year pattern, a 2020 launch is still believed to be more feasible for the "Grand Theft Auto 6."
