Ross Harris, Who Left Son Inside Hot Car, Undergoes 14th Day Of Trial; Is Wife Also Guilty Of Plotting To Kill Toddler?

The father who left his son for hours inside his car, who died from a hot car incident, underwent the 14th day of his trial. Investigators are saying that his wife, Leanna Harris, might have also played a part in the death of the two-year-old toddler.

Fox 5 reported that the trial for Ross Harris continued in Brunswick, Georgia. During the 14th day of Ross Harris' trial, Cobb County Police Detective David Riassi said in a statement that when police told him he would be charged with the murder of his toddler son, the comment about having "no malicious intent" given by the accused was odd. The lead detective, Detective Phil Stoddard, of the case, noted earlier this week during the prior trial dates that Ross Harris blurted out, "but there was no malicious intent."

The jury was ordered to walk around the SUV of Harris twice with the door open and twice with the door closed. They have up to five minutes to examine the SUV but are not allowed to touch it.

Aside from that, Ross Harris allegedly lived a double life as he told women and underage females that he has a sex addiction, is only married due to their son and is cheating on his wife. He used the apps Whisper and KIK. He reportedly exchanged sexual text messages with a 14-year-old female while his son was dying at the backseat of the vehicle.

Videos showing Ross Harris holding his son Cooper at the Chick-fil-A and when he arrived at the Home Depot parking lot, where he worked, were also presented. Ross Harris claimed that he forgot his son was in the back seat of the car. The reports believed that Ross Harris visited his vehicle during lunch time from his Home Depot job.

Ross Harris is charged with murder, disseminating harmful material to a minor, and criminal attempt to commit sexual exploitation to a juvenile. As for the wife of Ross Harris, Daily Mail reported that investigators said she showed no emotion when she was allowed to see her husband, and she never asked to see the body of their toddler son.

Ross' wife, Leanna, is currently one of the listed suspects, but there is not enough evidence to charge her. She is expected to be in court next week as a defense witness.
