Fans of Motorola smartphones may have something to rejoice about as sources have reported the upcoming model of the Moto G may be released before the month is out.
Motorola's Moto G, via known leaker Evan Blass's Twitter (@evleaks), the next-generation smartphone will be coming with Moto Maker support.
Android Authority explains that with this new customizable feature, customers will be able to pick and choose their device's panelling and camera module's accent stripe.
However, the site adds that unlike it's more high-end cousin, the Moto X, as a budget-range line, the Moto G will most likely not expand to personalized build materials. This is a major upgrade from the earlier Moto G (2014).
Moto G 2015 Specs and Features
In a related report via GSM Arena, Motorola's Moto G is expected to make it's way to Chile this August but per a new leak, its release in Brazil will be taking place earlier, specifically on July 28.
The upcoming release is said to carry a range of great features that include a 5-inch 720p touchscreen display and dual cameras. The rear will come with a 13-MP snapper while its front camera will have a 5-MP range for selfies and video calls. In terms of what's under the hood, the Moto G (2015) is expected to sport a 1.4GHz quad-core Cortex-A53 CPU and Adreno 306 GPU.
Much like what's trending with other smartphone makers, the 2015 model is tipped to come in different variants, a 8GB and 16GB option. 1GB of RAM should come with the lower built-in storage while a boosted 2GB of RAM will come in handy for the higher model.
For active consumers, the new smartphone will have an IPx7 certification -- water resistant for up to 1m up to 30 minutes -- but won't be sport dust resistant.
While a price hasn't been officially released, it's expected to come with a price tag similar to its predecessors.

The tech giant has remained mum on the subject but typically the company releases phones during the late summer to beat the iPhone craze that follows in the fall.
