While there are speculations that CBS is canceling "Blue Bloods" after Season 7 due to Tom Selleck's salary, CBS's police procedural drama series is still on its ground maintaining a high rating. According to TV Series Finale, "Blue Bloods" Season 7 Episode 5 gained 1.10 rating with 10.033 million viewers. To date, it has been recorded to have 10.242 million viewers per episode. Similarly, the previous season gained 1.24 ratings with 10.50 million viewers, just a few notch higher than the current.
Viewers have been in tuned with "Blue Bloods" as it continues touching more relevant issues in the realm of crime and investigation. Like in tonight's episode, Danny Reagan (Donnie Wahlberg) witnesses a woman crossing the street who was seriously hit by a rushing car. He sought help from other passersby to call 911, but the woman was dead on the spot.
As he probes the featured case in "Blue Bloods" Season 7's sixth episode entitled "The Whistleblower," Danny learns that the woman took party drugs before the incident which she may have been forced to do. The forensic examiner is amazed to know that the woman was able to talk and walk her way.
According to National Institute on Drug Abuse, part drugs have short-term effects like increased heart rate and blood pressure, muscle tension, teeth clenching, a sharp rise in body temperature leading to liver, kidney, or heart failure and death.
As the story unfolds, Danny starts investigating and finds a bag of drugs in the locker of his suspected killer. A series of violent scenes will take place as Danny confronts and questions the alleged killer.
Meanwhile, in the sneak preview of "Blue Bloods" Season 7 Episode 6, a more pressing issue is faced by the Reagan patriarch, Frank (Tom Selleck) as he deals with the whistleblower who accuses top ranks of the department to be abusing their power. This is such a problem Frank has to solve.
"Blue Bloods" Season 7 Episode 6 will air tonight at 10 p.m. ET/PT on CBS.
