As the new NBA season began, the NBA trade rumors also heat up. Rudy Gay and Nerlens Noel are still regulars in the NBA trade rumor mills and recent reports suggest that both are itching to have a new home court in the NBA league. Meanwhile, there are rumors that Kevin Garnett might coach multiple teams.
Let's start with Nerlens Noel and Rudy Gay first. Both players are among the best players on their team. However, it seems that Philadelphia 76ers and Sacramento Kings might bid goodbye to Nerlens Noel and Rudy Gay soon.
Sixers have a surplus of big men and they need to trade either Nerlens Noel or Jahlil Okafor because Philly is certainly keeping Joel Embiid. Nerlens Noel has a great potential to be a basketball superstar in the making. In fact, there are rumors that the NBA contender teams Golden State Warriors and Cleveland Cavaliers are after the Philadelphia 76ers' center.
Nerlens Noel told Philly.com that it's not wise for Philadelphia 76ers to have three starting-caliber centers. The player stressed that Sixers should address this issue.
On the other hand, Yahoo! Sports reported that Rudy Gay might likely opt out from his contract with Sacramento Kings. Chances are slim for Rudy Gay to negotiate a contract with Kings as the small forward is determined to move on and play with another team in the NBA league.
There are rumors that Sacramento Kings might just trade Rudy Gay instead of losing him for nothing, once he hit the free agency market. Thus, chances are high that Rudy Gay will be wearing a new jersey in the upcoming months. After all, the NBA trade will not be over until February 2017.
Meanwhile, there are rumors that Kevin Garnett will return to the NBA after his retirement in Minnesota Timberwolves. Reports are rife that Kevin Garnett will return as a coaching consultant in the NBA league. The NBA superstar is reportedly in talks with Cleveland Cavaliers and Milwaukee Bucks.
Adrian Wojnarowski suggests that Kevin Garnett could accept multiple teams under him. However, it is still unconfirmed and the idea of Kevin Garnett being involved with two teams is quite interesting. Will he have his own favorite?
