‘Titanfall 2’ Fell Short to ‘Call Of Duty’; ‘Call of Duty’ Tough to Beat According to Creators

As the new game "Titanfall 2" is in and part of the competition list of video games, the creators of the legendary video game "Call of Duty" who happened to also design "Titanfall 2" are finding their own best creation tough to beat. With the new game's release, "Titanfall 2" sales fall short in a third to a six million units.

According to The Economics Times, "Titanfall 2" was released on Friday. The game was in fact designed by Jason West and Vince Zampella. They both developed "Call of Duty" for Activision Blizzard, Inc. But the sales of the new game "Titanfall 2" fell a tough short of one analyst's estimate because of competition from the legendary game "Call of Duty." The new game released leads to the biggest loss in almost nine months.

Doug Creutz, an analyst at Cowen & Co., cut his trades forecast for the new "Titanfall" installment by more than a third to six million units based on the tracking record that was obtained from Amazon. The projection proposes that in the video games, it is tough to repeat past hits mostly in a crowded market with the "Call of Duty."

The Bloomberg Market said that Electronic Arts, based in Redwood City, fell a 4 percent to $79.45 short at the close in New York. The stash was up 20 percent this year through Thursday, and based in Santa Monica, California, the game fell less than 1 percent to $43.32.

Doug Creutz said that in a note, Electronic Arts may have wrongly misfired and slowly shooting their foot. Although "Titanfall 2" scored with a lot of critics on the line, Electronic Arts may have gone wrong by releasing their first-person shooter game so close to a new "Call of Duty," which will be released on Nov. 4, and "Battlefield 1." "Call of Duty" was the best video game in the U.S. last year and a game that is considered to be one of the designer's masterpiece.

However, the chief operating officer of West and Zampella's design studio Dusty Welch said that he was pleased with the release.

"Titanfall 2" features computerized titans fighting in a revolutionary world. Unlike the last series, "Titanfall 2" is available for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. It is also accessible for the first time a single-player game.
