Amy Huberman Considers 'Animal Practice' Departure As 'The Best Gift'

Amy Huberman said that being axed from her role in an American TV series ended up as a "gift" as she conceived her daughter Sadie. She is from Dublin and got the role when she happened to be in the U.S. for something else and not because of "Animal Practice".

She's not sure what to think when the incident happened because it's just not the way it is back home in Ireland. Replacements come easy in America when something is not right anymore, the "Animal Practice" accidental cast recalls, says Independent.

JoAnna Garcia replaces Amy Huberman and was only informed when she was taping an episode for the "Animal Practice" in Los Angeles. She did not hide her disappointment since both her and husband, Brian O'Driscoll expresses their excitement for the role in public.

It's like being splashed with icy water at while you are still on your adrenalin rush while doing your best for the show. She later came to realize that aside from the fact that "Animal Practice" is not for her to linger on, it was meant to be cut off for the baby.

She could have resigned if she'd known she'll be pregnant with her daughter, Sadie. It will be confusing for her and her husband if it happened that way. Getting pregnant while on a celebrated job like "Animal Practice" could be very stressful and perhaps not possible.

Now, that she is a mother of two children and the star of "Can't Cope Won't Cope," she has learned that there are things that we do not have control of. Also, cultural differences are evident between America and Ireland. Her current show has been featured by RTE.

The experience also changes her character since she no longer gets very upset when not chosen for a role that she aims for. She also won't be thinking of what could she have done more to grab the job that she wants. It's just very simple - when it's for you, you'll get it. If not, nothing you can do about it! Thanks to the "Animal Practice" experience.
