"Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2" players may find it difficult to advance to the game from scratch. Fortunately, those who have been playing the original "Dragon Ball Xenoverse 1" can transfer their old data to the new game. This will allow players to acquire the best equipment and attacks of "Xenoverse 1" characters that could help them in training their new characters.
"Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2" players are advised to scan for "Xenoverse 1" saved data in their PS4 or Xbox One consoles as they boot up the game. If there is an existing "Xenoverse 1" data available, it will allow players to transfer the data to the latest game version in the console at a certain point during the tutorial. The player will also be rewarded with a character from "Xenoverse 1" that they can use in "Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2," iDigitalTimes reported.
"Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2" will ask players whether they prefer to use their saved data when the Supreme Kai of Time explains the events of "Xenoverse 1" to their current character. If players agree, they can choose one character from "Xenoverse 1" or random Time Patrollers that will come with the skillset and equipment from the previous game version. However, the offer can only be completed once.
For those who want to redo the process, they will have to delete their current "Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2" data and start again. So, it is recommended that players select their best character option the first time they are asked by the Supreme Kai of Time. Additionally, it is also advised that players improve their characters in the original game and equip them with better skillset and equipment to have better chances at getting Ultra Moves in "Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2."
