"Pokemon Go's" Halloween update brought an increase in spawn rates of various Pokemon. However, the update will only last during the Halloween season. "Pokemon Go" players left with less Pokemon spawns after Halloween can increase Pokemon spawn rates in their area without cheating by following the tricks below.
"Pokemon Go's" Halloween event augmented the spawn rates of 14 Pokemon such as Meowth, Marowak, Muk, Ekans, Kadabra, Alakazam, Shellder, Cloyster, Cubone, Golbat, Magikarp, Gyarados, Tentacool and Slowbro, Mirror reported. Such Pokemon are suggested to be found more frequently, making them easier to capture. However, the increased Pokemon spawns can only last until Nov. 1.
"Pokemon Go" players, however, can possibly raise Pokemon spawns in their specific locations without the use of cheating apps or tools. The trick comes handy as it only requires players to create multiple "Pokemon Go" accounts in multiple devices. This is based on the fact that the number of "Pokemon Go" players in an area affects the number of spawn rates.
That said, the lesser the players in a certain place, the lesser spawn rates will appear, To change that, "Pokemon Go" players need to increase the number of players in their area by creating multiple accounts. One tip is to use family and friends' devices to create "Pokemon Go" accounts even though they do not actually play the game.
Another trick that can expand the number of Pokemon spawns is to create different accounts using Android emulators, MobilenApps reported. This tip does not require "Pokemon Go" players to utilize third party bots and tools to fake the GPS so it may still be considered a non-cheating trick to increase Pokemon spawns. However, it is not clear yet whether Niantic Labs may consider it cheating or if "Pokemon Go" developers may soon be able to detect it and identify it as a suspicious activity.
"Pokemon Go" players are advised to take caution in following the tips, tricks and guides in this article as Niantic Labs may one day flag such acts as a ground for banning accounts. In the meantime, check out how to use an Android emulator in the video below. You can also leave your thoughts on "Pokemon Go's" Halloween update in our comment section.
