MLS Latest News: The New York Football Club Is More Than the Big Three According to Toronto FC Coach Vanney

As the New York City Foot Ball Club has their iconic big trio on the field against Toronto Football Club, Toronto Coach Greg Vanney thinks that they have more tricks than their star player. The big trio is composed of David Villa, Andrea Pirlo, and Frank Lampard.

Sports Net confirmed that since the New York club entered Major League Soccer last season, both teams have been matched five times with Big Apple's New York City FC winning two times and garnering three draws.

Toronto Football Club will try their best to get their first win against New York City Football Club at their sixth attempt on Sunday in the opening night of the Eastern Conference semifinals at the BMO.

This playoff series has plenty of star power as NYCFC trio David Villa, Andrea Pirlo, and Frank Lampard against the Toronto Football Club's big three comprising Sebastian Giovinco, Michael Bradley, and Jozy Altidore. These entire six profile player are believed to be the highest-paid players in the league that will possibly be in the arena at the same time on Sunday.

According to Latest Today News, Toronto FC head coach Greg Vanney said that NYCFC is more than just their three. He also further explained that they have a good solid team and the TFC can't get too wrapped up in the big three. TFC must be aware of all of the NYFC pieces and what their entire player is capable of.

Coach Vanney pulled out defenders R.J. Allen and Ronald Matarrita as well as his midfielders Tommy McNamara and Jack Harrison as the card to outline the NYCFC.

He also gave a special praise for the veteran defensive midfielder Andoni Iraola as a former star with Spanish outfit Athletic Bilbao who has made over 400 appearances for the Basque club in La Liga.
