Cheap Foods That Diabetics and Prediabetics Should Include In Their Diet

A study published in the Journal of Agricultural and Food Chemistry and researchers from the University of Toyama in Japan agrees that chamomile tea has positive effects on regulating blood sugar.

Black Beans

Beans are commonly known for its excellent effect on providing fiber and protein, which actually help in maintaining low glycemic index value. A person should take beans for breakfast, lunch, and dinner dishes if possible but those with arthritis or other related diseases should opt not to.

Avocado

The avocado has a high amount of monounsaturated fat and low sugar content, and this is the reason why it is such a unique fruit. Such content of avocados makes them subdue blood cholesterol levels and slow down the absorption of other sugars.

Cinnamon

The smell of great but the effect is even greater, especially for diabetics and prediabetics. Adding a half teaspoon of cinnamon to daily diet is said to give a favorable effect in the body like making cells more responsive to insulin.
