Since the announcement that "American Horror Story" will return for a brand-new season in 2017 and that it will somehow continue the plot from its third season, fans have been guessing how the new "Coven" series would turn out. Fortunately, the show's creator Ryan Murphy gave some juicy clues about the plot during EW's PopFest in Los Angeles.
In an article that appeared in Entertainment Weekly, Ryan Murphy spilled some details about the next "American Horror Story" when prodded by events host, Tom Stack during the PopFest. According to Murphy, the storyline of "American Horror Story" will be much more eerie as it will be a crossover from the plot of the first season (Murder House) and third season which is also said to be the most popular (Coven).
Since it will be a crossover from two of best seasons of "American Horror Story," Ryan Murphy said it is not even appropriate to call the next anthology a Season 7. This recent revelation draws cheers from the crowd especially when Murphy went on to say that the "American Horror Story" in 2017 will see the return of some of the cast members, both from the "Murder House" and "Coven" season.
Ryan Murphy who is also the creator of the Glee series said that he has started talking to actors from both Season 1 and 3 to discuss their possible return to the show. Seems like the writer and producer is eyeing return of stars such as Connie Britton and Dylan McDermott in the "American Horror Story."
"Murder House" from Season 1 features the story of a family that moves into a new home, a restored mansion in the hope of rebuilding relationships and starting anew. The family, however, will soon find out the mansion is haunted. Meanwhile, the "Coven" series explores witchcraft and wizardry as it features a mysterious school where descendants from a witch clan are taught how to protect themselves.
