Microsoft continues to compete in the gaming industry as they are about to release the new "Microsoft VR" headset. The "Microsoft VR" headset will be compatible with Windows 10 with a HoloLens feature.
The Tech Crunch confirmed that Microsoft had already come up with an agreement with some of the largest manufacturer in the world. Asus, Dell and Lenovo will be the official partners of the Microsoft as they build their own model of the "Microsoft VR" headset.
In their report, it shows that the "Microsoft VR" price will start at $299 per headset. Though a price has been stated, still fans need to wait until December as the Microsoft is about to confirm and announce all the other stuff related to the "Microsoft VR" device.
On the other hand, the new "Microsoft VR" will feature the new Windows Holographic. This Windows Holographic will allow selling more VR games and VR apps exclusively for Windows 10 if their partners agreed to install and use the technology. Microsoft is also aiming to sell the "Microsoft VR" at a cheaper price with the HoloLens technology so that consumers might be able to take a hold of their "Microsoft VR" headset.
Aside from the HoloLens feature, the Microsoft also aims to use the "Microsoft VR" without the needs of a powerful gaming PC or laptop. It also confirmed by the PC World that the new "Microsoft VR" will leave the wires behind since it will be a wireless device.
According to The Verge, Microsoft plans to open the WinHEC this December and will be divided into two events. It has been stated that on both events, the "Microsoft VR" details will be revealed officially, though it has been said already that the "Microsoft VR" will start shipping after the release of the Windows 10 Creator Update on March 2017.
