Pregnant singer Hillary Scott is very happy and proud that her unborn child is getting the opportunity to listen and become familiar with the sound of one of the most popular singers of the country, Stevie Nicks, even before entering the world.
Scott, who joined hands with Nicks in a show named "CMT Crossroads", shared her happiness during the HOT 20 Countdown, aired Saturday.
"Driving over here today, I was thinking [that] the first voice - other than mine, my husband's speaking voice and the boys - that our baby's ever heard is Stevie Nicks," People magazine quoted the proud mom-to-be as saying during the program. "I just thought, 'What a lucky kid already.'"
Not only the expecting singer, but Nicks is also happy to have Scott's child's presence at the show.
"I said that in 10 years, whether it's a little boy or a little girl, it will be able to watch this film and go 'I was there,'" Nicks said , according to People magazine.
This is the first child of the Lady Antebellum's 26-year-old singer with husband and drummer Chris Tyrrell. Scott met Tyrrell, lead drummer of band "Love and Theft", during Tim McGraw's Southern Voice tour in 2010.
Lady Antebellum's song "Just a Kiss" revolves around Scott's relationship with Tyrrell. The couple, who started dating in July 2010, tied the knot in January 2012. In December 2012, the couple confirmed pregnancy. The baby is due in summer.
In 2011, Tyrrell started working for Lady Antebellum's band. Apart from Scott, "Lady Antebellum", based in Nashville, Tennessee, consists of Charles Kelley and Dave Haywood.
