‘Game of Thrones’ Season 7 Renewal Update: Will Start Airing On Summer 2017?

It's completely normal be thrilled as early as today about "Game of Thrones Season 7"! Is the end coming? Is winter ending? Here's everything you need to know.

It has been tradition for HBO to launch the latest GOT episodes early in April during Spring. But this year will be different. According to HBO Viewers Guide, the epic show's seventh season is set to begin in summer.

"We began a little later because during the end of the current season, 'Winter is here' - and it construes that Mr. Sun can't be cast in the show for this season anymore," said showrunners David Benioff and Dan Weiss.

The release date extension kindled flames of excitement among avid fanatics. But the directors confirmed that filming is not scheduled to finish until February 2017.

To keep fans at the top of their toes, the makers of "Game Of Thrones" spilled first-look teaser in the highly anticipated episodes. According to Watchers On The Wall, the show front runners, Jon Snow, Tyrion, Cersei, Daenerys and Jaime were initially confirmed to sign contracts for seven seasons way back in late 2014.

The same stars were also offered a new contract for the eighth season in June 2016. This, however, translates to no guarantee that the beloved characters of these actors will actually live and survive a season-long, says Making Game Of Thrones.

Let us offer a moment of silence as we remember the deaths of Ned Stark, Robert Stark, and all the names in the list that seems to have no end. It could be recalled that in October 2014, Natalie Dormer had signed for season seven but that didn't stop the evil mother queen to burn Margaery in the Wildfire flames at the end of season six.

Rumor has it that even the long-dead Khal Drogo could be back after snapshots of the Khal alongside Kit Harington were shown, says Digital Spy. Truly unpredictable, truly exciting, truly worth anticipating!
