Actor-comedian Nick Cannon can tolerate anything, except bad behavior of his twins.
During a talk with People magazine recently, the proud father talked about his toddlers - son Moroccan and daughter Monroe.
"My kids - it's a blessing - they're extremely disciplined," Cannon told People magazine.
The little children know how to behave properly, particularly when they are with their parents than with anyone else.
"They try [misbehaving] with other people because everyone gives them so much attention, but when it comes to my wife and I, we only have to say something once," Cannon said. "We ask them to have a seat, they sit down, cross their legs and put their hands in their lap. I hope it lasts!"
The 32-year-old, who describes himself as a "stern" father, started disciplining his children from the very early stages of their growth.
"I've got the loudest voice in the house," he said. "So they've always responded to that ever since they were newborns. They hear my voice and they freeze."
However, the little children also know how to trick their father.
"We have a candy store inside of our L.A. house, and the basketball court is beneath it. My son tricks me. He'll say 'basketball,' and then every time, when we walk to the court, he runs to the straight to the candy and takes a handful," Cannon said. "He's not even 2 yet, but he knows how to play the Jedi mind trick!"
Cannon, who started his career with the Nickelodeon show "All That", became popular with his roles in the movies like "Drumline" and "Roll Bounce".
Cannon, first met singer-songwriter Mariah Carey in 2005 at the Billboard Music Awards. The couple tied the knot in April 2008. In April 2011, the two welcomed their twins.
