The last run of "The Vampire Diaries" has finally begun but Damon and Enzo are still enslaved with the siren's spell. In addition, Nina Dobrev's return in "TVD" remains unconfirmed. What will happen in "The Vampire Diaries" Season 8 next?
According to MTV, "The Vampire Diaries" Season 8 will literally go to hell. The next "TVD" episode titled "You Decided That I Was Worth Saving" will feature Georgie (Allison Scagliotti) and Alaric (Matthew Davis) where the former tells the latter about the artifact belonging to the devil.
However, "The Vampire Diaries" spoilers reveal that only Ric knows how to use the said artifact. Rick might use the magical weapon to break the siren spell enslaving Damon (Ian Somerhalder) and Enzo (Michael Malarkey). Since the last "TVD" season Damon and Enzo have been terrorizing the West Coast, thanks to Ric the duo might be free at last.
Meanwhile, Julie Plec announced earlier that there will be a wedding in "The Vampire Diaries" Season 8. "TVD" fans were hopeful that Nina Dobrev's Elena will finally wake up to exchange "I Do's" with Ian Somerhalder's Damon. Unfortunately, it turned out that the upcoming wedding will be Stefan (Paul Wesley) and Caroline's (Candice King).
The last "The Vampire Diaries" episode ended with Stefan's proposal to Caroline, which breaks the hearts of the Klaroline and Delena fans. "TVD" fans are hopeful that the wedding will be Elena and Damon's. Meanwhile, "The Originals" fans are hoping that Caroline will return in New Orleans and reunite with Klaus.
The Steroline wedding seems to conclude that Nina Dobrev is indeed not returning in "The Vampire Diaries" Season 8, despite Julie Plec's statement that the actress is 100 percent interested to be involved in the "TVD" finale. The "The Vampire Diaries" alum, Nina Dobrev shared a controversial post on her Instagram account about "happy ever after," which for her seems to equate that one should not be pressured with other demands.

Everyone knows that "TVD" fans are pressuring Nina Dobrev to return in "The Vampire Diaries" Season 8. Unfortunately, based on her post, it seems that Ian Somerhalder's ex has already decided to just move on from the series. So, the anticipated Delena reunion is very much unlikely.
