'Thor 3: Ragnarok' Actress Confirms 'Civil War' Connection, 'All Kind of Easter Eggs & Hints'

Marvel fans are becoming more curios with the next movies that will be released on the big screens since Marvel created a movie plan, which they scheduled until 2019. Even movie stars are excited with the upcoming movies and among them is "Thor 3" star Jaime Alexander. The actress hinted that "Captain America: Civil War," which will premiere in 2016 has some connection with the next installment of "Thor," which is set to hit the big screens in 2017.

The "Agent of S.H.I.E.L.D" star revealed to Los Angeles Times that she believes Marvel is keeping some details from her on purpose because they know she will likely spill her knowledge. However, she is certain that she will reprise her role in "Thor 3" and that her character, Sif, has a pivotal part in the movie.

Sif is one of the best Asgard warriors who battle with Thor. She is Thor's lover and companion. The "Blindspot" actress certainly has an idea about the plot but remained mum about it as she jokingly said she would not spill or else she will get shot.

However, when asked if she is excited with the stuff prepared for "Avengers: Age of Ultron" and if there are big teasers out, the actress did not drop her guard but hinted that yes, there is.

"Yeah, there's a lot of great stuff they've peppered in through 'Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.,' 'The Avengers,' 'Captain' will have some stuff. There's just all kind of Easter eggs and hints, if you're really paying attention. They're so good at interweaving everything throughout those films," Alexander told Los Angeles Times.

As for "Thor: Ragnarok," Kevin Feige, the American producer and president of Marvel Studious described the film as "a very important movie for [Marvel] in Phase 3 [...] It picks up where we leave Thor in Avengers: Age of Ultron and impacts everything that comes after," according to ScreenCrush.

If Ragnarok movie will follow its comic counterpart storyline, the plot will be confusing as it is a sort of apocalypse for Asgard. In the comics, the heir to the throne of Asgard discovered that the mold used to create Mjolnir still exists; worse, it can be used to make weapons for evil and the said device is in the hands of his untrustworthy brother, Loki.

Loki creates an army, leading to hostilities and warfare that do not only break Thor's hammer but destroy Asgard. Thor seeks the wisdom of Odin and he learns about Those Who Sit Above in Shadow. It is not clear, but there are hints that Thor might die, according to ScreenCrush.

It is not certain as to how the producers and writers will change the plot to make the story more interesting in the big screen. "Thor: Ragnarok" is set to premiere in Theaters on July 28, 2017.
