'The Good Dinosaur' Trailer Released: First Look Here!

It is with Pixar's movies that the adults weep with the storyline while the children smile out of animation. "The Good Dinosaur" is Pixar's next big thing after the recent release of Monsters University, Brave and Inside Out. Its full length trailer was first released on Tuesday.

The film is about a dinosaur, lost after an asteroid had missed to hit the Earth, who found a sweet loving friendship with a human cave-boy, Spot. They coexisted and grew together. Time mentions the trailer itself is a tear jerker. "A single moment can change history. A single kindness can change everything," highlights the trailer.

"From there it's been about trying to focus what the story is. In filmmaking, or at least those I've been a part of, stories can sometimes become two stories, or three stories—it's been about trying to boil it down, and find the emotional arc," Director Peter Sohn told Wired.

Arlo the Apotosaurus will make us travel back in time as it was shown on a sneak peak released last month. It can be recalled that Pixar also released "Inside Out" in June this year.

Meanwhile, controversies from the not-yet-released film strike out the public when it was known that the original director was replaced and most of the cast were reinstated with another set of actors. BGR reports that much had been made and reworked from the original storyline.

Wired reports that the story was produced in 2009 and rewritten in 2013 after its original director, Bob Peterson, was replaced with Sohn who worked with "The Incredibles" and "Finding Nemo."

It can also be recalled that in 1988, the movie "The Land Before Time," featuring dinosaurs, was also released by Universal Studios. The plot revolved a young brontosaurus, Little Foot, which joined other species of young dinosaurs to find their way home to their families, IMDb mentions in their reviews.

The Land Before Time, nonetheless, is a story of how these dinosaurs were lost and were looking for their way back to their families after an asteroid hit the earth, while The Good Dinosaur features a storyline of a beautiful coexistence between humans and these now-extinct species.

BGR mentions that Pixar fans have been worried about it losing its "magic touch' in resonating the heartstrings of both children and adults, like with their touching stories such as Finding Nemo and Toy Story. But here come The Good Dinosaur, Arlo and Spot.

The movie is a collaboration of Disney and Pixar's animation which will feature the voices of Neil Patrick Harris, Anna Paquin, Bill Hader, Judy Greer, Frances McDormand and John Lithgow. It will hit the theaters on Thanksgiving.
