Despite Noah Solloway getting locked up after the events of season 2, "The Affair" season 3 will still deliver the much needed drama and awkward realness of the intertwined lives of Noah, Alison, Helen and Cole. In the upcoming run, audiences will see how the four characters will pick up the pieces after surviving some traumatic effects of their poor choices in the past two seasons.
While "The Affair" season 3 will still center on the repurcussions of the illicit relationship Noah and Alison had, new reports claimed that the upcoming season will also introduce new faces that will bring new conflicts into the mix. TVLine recently reported that Whitney, Noah and Helen's eldest child, will have a love interest that is not Scotty Lockheart in "The Affair" season 3.
As the outlet noted, "Desperate Housewives" alum Jonathan Cake will play the role of Furkat, a Brooklyn-based photographer who will be the apple of Whitney's eyes. His closeness with the young Solloway will reportedly cause more tension in the family.
Apart from Cake, previous reports have already confirmed that French actress Juliette Le Gall will play Noah's new love interest, Irene Jacob, in "The Affair" season 3. Le Gall's addition to the cast suggests that things have not been good between Noah and Alison during his three year stint in jail.
"The Affair" season 3 will premiere three years after Noah's imprisonment. Ecumenical News claimed that after spending time in jail for a crime he didn't commit, Noah will be followed by the ghosts of his past.
Alison struggles to find meaning in her life. Cole and Helen are seemingly happy in "The Affair" season 3, but only time will tell what drama will unfold as the story progresses.
