Since the "Big Hero 6" made its success as the third-highest-grossing domestic release of all time, next to "Frozen" and "The Lion King." The "Big Hero 7" will more likely have the same success.
What led to the film's success? Going back when Walt Disney Animation produced the first big hero sequel. Instead of the film company's usual administrative-driven nature, they instead focused on the filmmakers. So the executives granted freedom of creativity and storytelling than holding too full control over the content.
Toronto Sun's interview with Marvel creator Stan Lee has mentioned an exciting plot for the animated movie. Initially, Disney and Marvel will create a sequel to the "Big Hero 6," but the man himself pushed for the "Big Hero 7" instead.
Here are the spoilers to put fans at ease. The inflatable friendly Baymax and his great human buddy Hiro will return in a slightly different form from the "Big Hero 6."
Movie News Guide marks Tadashi Hamada did not die, and his come back in Walt Disney's latest sequel will have a bigger surprise. Baymax still is the city's superhero, this time geared as a for a bigger battle.
The twist of this story is that Hiro will battle his own brother who comes back as a Villain. Tadashi becomes Sunfire, with plasma manipulation powers. Clearly, his newfound power is the result of his death in a raging fire.
To top it all off, both Baymax and Hiro will face great turmoil. Hiro will have to choose if he will kill his own brother to stop his evil plots. While Baymax will have the toughest decision to also destroy his creator and follow his new master.
The animated movie is currently in the works. There is no clear premiere schedule yet, just stay tuned for the updates that Marvel and Walt Disney will announce.
