It was at this year's IFA when Samsung unveiled the Gear S3 that has got the enthusiasts wondering when it will finally be worn on their wrists. After waiting for a considerable amount of time, Gear S3 will come out in the United States on Nov. 18.
Samsung Gear S3 will arrive in a couple of days and the South Korean tech giant will be accepting pre-orders starting on Nov. 6 for consumers in the U.S. The anticipated watch is scheduled to release on Nov. 18, which is the time when Gear S3 will being shipping the pre-ordered items.
It was previously reported that enthusiasts have been betting on a mid-November release date, but the company has not confirmed anything. Now that the release date of Gear S3 is official, it is only a matter of time before fans can actually experience what Gear S3 is actually capable of.
Fans who cannot wait for the release date may opt to have a pre-order on Nov. 6, but AT&T offers a pre-order of Gear S3 starting on Nov. 4. Samsung will also make Gear S3 available on their website, along with other online retailers like Best Buy. In fact, Best Buy already listed Gear S3 as a "coming soon" item.
Gear S3 comes out in two models: Classic and Frontier. The latter is said to have a more rugged design than the other one. Unlike the Classic variant, Frontier is installed with an optional LTE, which can be used in sending mobile messages when necessary.
Other than that, both Gear S3 models are quite similar as they boast a stainless steel shell with water resistance feature. They also come with a scratch-resistant Gorilla Glass SR+, 786MB RAM, 4GB of built-in storage, dual-core Exynos chipsets and 380mAh batteries that can sustain power for approximately three to four days between charges.
The most talked about Gear S3 feature, however, is the built-in Samsung Pay, which supports the MST Tech. It allows users to purchase goods, stream music on Spotify and more by just using a credit card. As for the price, the most affordable option is forecasted at $350.
