Serena Landed Ash Ketchum His First Kiss. Ash Ketchum finally earned his first kiss on the most recent episode of "Pokemon XY and Z." Though it was not highlighted, as the camera focused on their feet, it was implied that Ash got his first kiss from Serena. After the cameras panned on Ash and Serena's feet, Ash was left with blushing cheeks after Serena went down the escalator.
Ash Ketchum's Possible Love Interests. Two of the characters that are linked to Ash Ketchum are Misty and Serena. Though they might not be featured often on "Pokemon XY and Z" Amourshippers explained their roles on Ash Ketchum's journey.
Who is Misty? Misty is one of Ash Ketchum's first crushes of whom he met on one of his adventures. Though it was cleared out that Ash doesn't have serious feelings for her (as Misty was just a petty crush) Shudo set the records straight explaining that there is "NO LOVE AFFAIR" between the two. Ash and Misty may not be in a relationship, but it was clearly hinted that Misty could be madly in-love with Ash as mentioned on Satoship. It was then revealed by one of the writers that Ash and Misty do have feelings for each other, but they were too young an immature to move forward with their relationship.
"Pokemon XY and Z" is focused on Ash Ketchum story and his battles, leaving little to no traces of his love story as the makers caters to young audiences. "Pokemon XY and Z" makers have been focused on making the storyline love-story free so that it can cater to all audiences. Though Ash never really had a love interest, the Pokemon trainer does have several crushes that he'd meet while going on his adventures.
