'Huawei Mate 9' News, Updates, Rumors: Were They Prompted By The 'Samsung Note 7' Meltdown?

Huawei pushed the release of its "Huawei Mate 9" series just right before the ashes of Samsung's exploding "Note 7" subsided. With the release of "Huawei Mate 9," Huawei, a Chinese company dare says they have the capacity to combat smartphone's inherent tendencies of decline.

"Mate 9" comes in two unique variants, first is the Porsche-branded version with a resolution that is twice as powerful as the other second version which features a 1080p display with full HD. "Huawei Mate 9" is one of the first phones fitted with the new Android 7 OS. BBC reports however that some experts believe that majority of the Western market has not yet opened up to the brand.

Huawei worked wonders in marketing "Huawei Mate 9" as quickly as sales can be made. This is not a surprise though since the brand has been known as the type who will make sure every opportunity is maximized. Mo4ch calls Huawei as the toughest competitor that other tech giants should seriously watch out for.

"Huawei Mate 9" units have no stylus just like Huawei's other units. Despite its recent success, Huawei does not share Samsung's status yet, and so it has positioned itself to blend with the rest of the brands.

Huawei collaborated with Leica for perfecting Mate's camera. The company also partnered with Porsche to produce its Porsche model. Critics, however, relates the latter partnership with that of Blackberry's in the past which failed to generate the expected volume of sales. Huawei remains optimistic in this view.

"Huawei Mate 9" also features batteries that supercharge. The technology claims to store enough power to go through one whole day with just 30-minutes of plugging time. That equates to a full charge that can last for two whole days by just charging for 90 minutes. Rings a bell? The explosive Note 7 had the same feature too.

Michael Seitz, Huawei's senior manager says the public has nothing to worry about stressing that the system was thoroughly examined and tested within a nine-month development period. "Huawei Mate 9" was also submitted to independent research lab to ensure safety and quality of the product.

Will "Huawei Mate 9" find triumph in the crumbles of Samsung's explosion?
