Calvin Harris Reconciles With Taylor Swift? Will 'This Is What You Came For' Lead To Their Friendship?

Let it be known that Calvin Harris knows not to hold grudges as he came to Twitter at the break of dawn today to thank his former girlfriend Taylor Swift and Rihanna for the success of "This Is What You Came For." We never thought Harris could get any hotter until this morning.

The tweet came as a response from the producer slash songwriter slash singer to one of his followers who twitted that the hit song "This Is What You Came For" is the only 2016 hit song that garnered double-platinum in the UK hit charts. Harris immediately gave credit to Swift and Rihanna. Billboard quotes Harris' thanksgiving tweet where he referred to Swift and Rihanna as incredible artists.

Aces Shobiz recalls the controversy last July when Swift's side confirmed that the "Bad Blood" star in fact co-wrote the song under a Nils Sjoberg pen name. Harris, also via Twitter, expressed his hurt against how ill-mannered the news came out. The tweet became viral as rumors about bad blood between Swift and Harris were confirmed.

In an interview, Harris expressed his dismay against Swift and her team whom according to him went overboard just to try to taint his reputation and make him the bad guy. Harris even taunted that if his ex was indeed as happy as she claimed she was with her new relationship, she should just focus her energy on it instead of throwing dirt to her ex for lack of any better thing to do.

The success of "This Is What You Came For" seemed to have kindled reconciliations of the ex-lover. Of course, Harris had to mention and give his thanks to superstar Rihanna who was featured in the song as well.

Some fans did not share the spirit of reconciliation, calling Swift a snake tagged in Harris' legend who will eventually earn dirty money from a song about him she'll definitely write soon. Do you agree?
