Brad Pitt, Angelina Divorce Rumors: Split Lurking in the Corner? Couple Only Staying for Kids, Claims Source

It may soon be the end of the road for Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie as the couple decided to divorce with finality, a source revealed to Celeb Dirty Laundry. The couple had long contemplated about divorce but they tried to stick it out for the kids.

However, their commitment to charity works and their busy schedules as celebrities have built a huge wall between them. Brad and Angelina got emotionally disengaged and had just grown apart.

Brad's mother, Jane, can attest to this. "In Jane's eyes neither Brad nor Angie have made their relationship a priority over the years. Their careers, charity work, and children have always come first. She really thinks that if they had some alone time as a couple they could make it work," a source was quoted as saying by Celeb Dirty Laundry, citing this week's edition of InTouch magazine.

Aside from being busy with acting and directing films, Angelina is also United Nation's Special Envoy. She is constantly travelling to conflicted regions for her advocacy. She had been in different parts of the world, but not beside her husband.

In January, Angelina traveled to Iraq and met with children and mothers who were kidnapped and who managed to escape from the ISIS. While she was unprepared to hear their horrific stories, they opened a door for Angelina's bigger involvement in the region.

"It is not enough to defend our values at home. We have to defend them here, in the camps and in the informal settlements across the Middle East," Angelina said as quoted by UN News Center. Her words imply that she will be traveling the region frequently in the coming days.

As if her plate was not full yet, Angelina has also traveled to Syria in March. There are more than 7.6 million people who are displaced in the region since conflict erupted back in March 2011. As the international community failed to render humanitarian help for the Syrian people, it seems like the conflict will never go away soon, and so is Angelina.

According to another report on UN News Center, Angelina vowed to put a spotlight on war crimes in the region and to continue to take care of the refugees. Her work in the region still has a long way to go, stealing more of her precious time away from Brad.

Brad, on the other hand, has started his engagement to his own advocacy. Just recently, he joined actor Ryan Gosling in condemning Costco for selling caged bird eggs. In a letter to Costco's CEO, obtained by Business Insider, Brad called for the company to take their animals out of their cages.

Brad's mother, Jane, continued to convince them not to file divorce and think about their six kids. However Celeb Dirty Laundry claims that the couple had already decided a specific date when the official announcement will be made.

Brad and Angelina will reportedly finish promoting their film "By The Sea," the same report notes. Come November 2015, the couple is alleged to make their divorce public.
