‘Dragon Ball Super’ New Episodes & Updates: FUNimation Plans English Dub, Or Just Subtitles?

FUNimation Entertainment happily announces its successful acquisition of the license over the hit anime "Dragon Ball Super." FUNimation made its official confirmation and announcement upon completion of the contract with Toei Animation for a several-year partnership. It's new license covers rights over "Dragon Ball Super" in Canada and the United States.

FUNimation Entertainment's newly acquired license protects its latest anime acquisition against any act of commercialization, reproduction and broadcasting. "Dragon Ball Super" has also been provided with full protection against streaming and home video piracy. Online downloading and other similar market opportunities are now restricted by the entertainment company upon earning exclusive rights to distribute "Dragon Ball Super."

Cruncy Roll reports that FUNimation Entertainment is set to immediately commence production of "Dragon Ball Super", dubbing English voice overs to the episodes of the hit anime. FUNimation Entertainment is yet to drop the names of the lucky talents who will get the ultimate task of giving voice to our favorite "Dragon Ball Super" characters. FUNimation Entertainment has not yet confirmed the show's final broadcast date.

Meantime, fans are treated as they wait for new episodes including episodes 1-10 and 47-64, all formatted with English subtitles, for online streaming."Dragon Ball Super" has garnered positive feedback as excitement and anticipation increase over anime-lovers awaiting final announcements and further show reveals.

"Dragon Ball Super" is the latest spin-off of the ultimate original anime series "Dragon Ball" which traces its fame way back to 1980s. "Dragon Ball" has enjoyed unwavering popularity over the past several years.

The success is shared by other ball tales including "Dragon Ball GT." And of course the hit version "Dragon Ball Z". Mobile Napps recalls the release of another equally successful tale, "Dragon Ball Z Kai" in the year 2009 which was a special treat for "Dragon Ball" series' 20th anniversary.
