'American Horror Story' Season 5 Plot Spoilers: Cast to Include Naomi Campbell & Lily Rabe

"American Horror Story" Season 5 will see new additions to its hotel guests in the characters of a fashion editor and a famous murderer. Naomi Campbell will be playing the fashion editor who will endure the consequences of her career inside the famous hotel. AHS alumnus Lily Rabe, on the other hand, will check in as a serial killer.

Supermodel turned actress Naomi will act side by side with Lady Gaga in a chapter that will be extended into multiple episodes, TVLine has exclusively reported. According to an insider who provided the information to TVLine, Naomi will start taping for the episodes next week. She will also be seen acting side by side with another AHS alumnus, Angela Bassett.

While Naomi's part had already been confirmed and fans would just have to wait seeing her in the series, Lily's come back, on the other hand, is yet to be confirmed. A source for Entertainment Weekly said that Lily and the show's production are still holding talks if she is willing to play the part of a famous murderer.

But if talks push through, the role is going to be the most challenging role Lily would ever play for AHS. On "American Horror Story: Freak Show", she portrayed the role of Sister Eunice in an asylum as seen in flashback scenes featuring Naomi Grossman as Pepper. She played as a ghost in season 1 and a hippie witch in season 3.

Rounding it up, AHS season 5 will star Lady Gaga as an evil character, Matt Bomer as a character named Donovan, Sarah Paulson as Hypodermic Sally, Kathy Bates as Iris and Evan Peters as Mr March. Little is known about the characters to be played by Angela Bassett, Finn Wittrock, Chloe Sevigny, Wes Bentley and Cheyenne Jackson.

In May, creator of AHS, Ryan Murphy, announced that Max Greenfield will also be checking-in in the hotel, with no chance of check-out. In a Twitter post, first spotted by IGN, Ryan teased that Max will be showing a different level of acting, saying fans will have to watch for an all new performance from the actor. In April, Ryan revealed via Twitter, as first spotted by The Huffington Post, that Kathy will be back to run the hotel.

To sum it all up, "American Horror Story" season 5, in Ryan's own words, will be "much more horror-based." It will be darker. "It's... a little bloodier and grislier I think than anything that we've done before. It's straight horror this year," Ryan promised. The season is said to be premiering in October.
