Cupertino-based tech giant Apple has been keeping mum about the new Apple iMac 2017. Rumors have been swirling that the upcoming Apple iMac will integrate the new Intel Kaby Lake Processor with a Polaris 10 or Polaris 11 Chipset, with an added bonus that it will a VR-Ready PC.
The Apple iMac users and technophiles were expecting the announcement alongside the release of the MacBook Pro 2016 last October. As of the moment, no description of any kind (specs, upgrades, etc.) have been released or announced regarding the much-anticipated replacement to the Apple's flagship computer. Speculations have it that insufficient supply of Intel's new Kaby Lake processor might be the culprit behind the delay of Apple iMac 2017. Since the MacBook Pro 2016 is already sporting Intel's latest Skylake CPU, it only makes sense for Apple to put a similarly new processor on their flagship model Apple iMac 2017.
Plus, this could mean that the new Apple iMac 2017 might be sporting the new Touch Bar feature that debuted with the MacBook Pro. The Touch Bar feature is a touch-screen strip at the top of the keyboard that changes to display functions specific to the app being used. And if Apple eventually features the Touch Bar on the Apple iMac 2017, there could be user mouse less or trackpad less menu-based tasks on the mix. This upgrade will be a good addition to the desktop user's productivity, though.
The Apple iMac 2017 is also rumored to sport either a Polaris 10 or Polaris 11 chipset, which has led to speculations that the new Apple iMac 2017 might just be the new powerful VR-ready PC on the block. If this is true, then the new Apple iMac 2017 will possess powerful specs, powerful enough to become an ultimate gaming tool with its processor and chipset combo.
However, bear in mind that all of these are pure speculations and none have been made official by Apple. But with the recent upgrades and features seen on the MacBook Pro, dreams can surely come true for us, especially with the new Apple iMac 2017.
