"Grey's Anatomy" season 13 has only two episodes before its midseason finale and episode 8 will prove to be an emotional one as memories will be triggered due to a difficult surgery. There will be also a power struggle between Meredith and Richard as Meredith exercises her authority over her former mentor.
"Grey's Anatomy" season 13 episode 8, "The Room Where it Happens", will have residents Owen Hunt (Kevin McKidd), Stephanie Edwards (Jerrika Hinton), Meredith Grey (Ellen Pompeo), Richard Webber (James Pickens Jr) working on a pivotal surgery to save the life of a patient.
The episode will bring about a flood of memories for some characters, such as Dr. Stephanie Edwards. According to Christian Today, Dr. Edwards will remember the time when she was younger and battled sickle cell disease.
"Grey's Anatomy" Season 13 Episode 8 will also have Dr. Webber remembering a certain Gail Webber, to be played by Monique Cash. It is unknown what Gail's relationship is to the doctor, but it seems that Gail might have faced the same situation the patient they are working on shows.
The operation room is filled with tension as the doctors argue over what steps to take to ensure the survival of the patient. The previews show that Dr. Grey and Dr. Webber clashing, with Meredith insisting that she now outranks Webber and can make a decision.
The episode will also feature feisty Dr. Eliza Minnick (Marika Dominczyk), who is reported to be the new love interest of Dr. Arizona Robbins (Jessica Capshaw). Dr. Minnick expressed her desire to stay at the hospital but claims that Dr. Webber has to go. "Grey's Anatomy" season 13 episode 8 will probably feature what will happen to her demand. Will Dr. Webber be let go?
Another question that needs to be answered is whether Dr. Alex Karev (Justin Chambers) will be jailed or fired from the hospital for his assault case. According to Morning Ledger, Chambers might actually leave the series altogether.
