Not a lot has been disclosed about the "Sons of Anarchy" prequel, but reports about the new Kurt Sutter project have been overflowing online. It would seem that Sutter has got his hands full with all the work for the "Sons of Anarchy" spin-off called "Mayans MC" that fans have seemed to forget about the prequel.
Rumors previously claimed that the "Sons of Anarchy" prequel will be called "First 9" and will focus on the beginnings of the motorcycle club Jax Teller's father, John Teller, helped form. There are speculations that Brad Pitt will play the role, but it was recently reported that "Vikings" star Travis Fimmel has been casted to play Charlie Hunnam's father in the prequel.
Recent "Sons of Anarchy" prequel reports claimed that the actor is rumored to be preparing for his role as of writing. Many have started to notice that the actor has started growing his hair, spurring rumors that this could be for his role on the new show.
Meanwhile, fans are also excited to know whether Hunnam will be part of the "Sons of Anarchy" prequel. No one really knows for sure, but it would seem highly unlikely for the actor to return given the timeline of the prequel.
If it offers any consolation, there have been talks going around that Hunnam's Jax Teller could have a part in the "Sons of Anarchy" spinoff. As Comic Book recently reported, Sutter has posted an intriguing Instagram photo with Hunnam and Emilio Rivera together. This spurred rumors that Sutter could be hinting Hunnam's potential return.
