Olympic swimmer Amanda Beard is going to be a mom again.
The 31-year-old and her husband Sacha Brown will welcome their second child in July, People magazine reported.
"We are so excited to add to our family! During my first pregnancy, I was sick the whole time and felt awful," the expecting swimmer, told People magazine. "So far this pregnancy has been a lot easier. I've only been sick a couple of times and I have way more energy."
The new addition will be joining the couple's first child, three-year-old, Blaise Ray Brown.
The toddler, overjoyed with the news is impatiently waiting for the baby's arrival.
"He's so excited. He keeps telling me how he is going to hug and kiss the baby and help me take care of [him or her]," Beard, who has received the American Swimmer of the Year Award two times, added to the magazine. "We will see if that actually happens!"
Beard, owner of seven Olympic medals, has 21 medals from International competitions, to her credit.
During an interview with Celebrity Baby Scoop (CBS), in Oct. 2010, the model-swimmer revealed motherhood more difficult than winning Olympic word records.
"My biggest challenge is definitely motherhood. My son and family are the most important aspects of my life," she explained to the website."So I try and make sure to be a great mother and wife. Which any wife or mother can tell you isn't always easy."
During the chat, she also revealed her dedication as a mom and described her life with her infant son as a "roller coaster of fun."
"Being a mom has changed me completely. My perspective on life and what matters has drastically changed. My whole focus is Blaise and making sure he gets what he needs on a daily basis," she told CBS.
