‘The Batman’ Movie Rumors: Ben Affleck To Direct & Portray Lead Role; Can Jennifer Garner’s Husband Make It To The Big Screen?

"The Batman" staring actor Ben Affleck might be cancelled before movie shooting even begins. Ben Affleck who will play the role of Batman in the movie was also set to direct the film at the same time. But rumors say the actor might not be able to do any of his roles.

"The Batman" movie was expected to debut in the big screen in about 18 months after the movie was first announced to the public. But in a Facebook live interview, Ben Affleck revealed that despite being entirely guaranteed that Warner Bros. got his back, he do not exactly have the firm's commitment in terms of how much money will be made available to fund "The Batman" production. Techno Buffalo reports "The Batman" actor even admitted to being clueless about the movie's plot.

In another interview, "The Batman" lead actor slash director Ben Affleck says there's one more problem - the movie's script is still in a very bad shape. In fact, Bret Easton Ellis, author of the original "Batman" comic has mentioned in one of his interviews that the big guys from Warner Bros. are well aware of the script's defects. Ellis' further hinted that despite the problem, the executives had no intention to step in.

The reaction was quite disturbing to fans. But Morning Ledger says Warner Bros. executives are not concerned by the bad script issue simply because they are confident enough that the movie will still bring in profits from film releases outside the US. In fact, a number of 2016's top grossing movies generated significant portions of their profits internationally.

Meanwhile, some fans speculate that the reason behind the delay of "The Batman" movie was Ben Affleck himself. They argue that becoming a movies' lead actor and director at the same time is too much work for one person. Share your thoughts bellow.
