Sci-fi fans are up for a treat as Paramount Pictures has released a 14-second teaser trailer for the science fiction action movie "Ghost In The Shell." The short but action-packed clip features Scarlett Johansson knocking out a man out of nowhere with her invisible punch.
In the "Ghost In The Shell" teaser trailer, a man is shown getting hit by an invisible individual sending him tumbling into the air. This incredible individual is later revealed to be none other than Scarlett Johansson who is wearing a thermoptic suit that allows her to become invisible.
Based on the same-name Japanese manga by Masamune Shirow, "Ghost In The Shell" follows the unique human-cyborg The Major, played by Scarlett Johansson, and the elite task force Section 9 as they fight to stop the most dangerous criminals and extremists. Along with the task force, The Major will face a fearsome enemy whose goal is to destroy all advancements in cyber technology, according to IndieWire.
"Ghost In The Shell" is directed by Rupert Sanders, also the director of "Snow White and the Huntsman". The movie casts include Japanese actor Takeshi Kitano in the role of Chief Daisuke Aramaki, French actress Juliette Binoche as Dr. Ouelet, Danish actor Pilou Asbæk playing as the second-in-command to The Major, Batou, and American actor Michael Pitt as Kuze. Members of task force Section 9 are played by Chin Han, Danusia Samal, Yutaka Izumihara, Lasarus Ratuere, and Tuwanda Manyimo, according to ComingSoon.
Fans don't need to wait long for the "Ghost In The Shell" full trailer as it is scheduled to be released on Sunday, November 13.
