Manny Pacquiao And Floyd Mayweather Rematch News: Bob Arum, Two Boxers Approve?; Rematch In Talks?

The past week has been a triumphant one for boxing legend from the Philippines, Manny Pacquiao as he beat Mexican opponent Jessie Vargas and regained the title of World Boxing Organisation (WBO) welterweight champion. Surprisingly, among the thousands who watch the fight is another boxing legend, Floyd Mayweather. The ringside presence of the retired boxer revives talks of a possible Paquiao -Mayweather rematch and everybody wants to know if Bob Arum will make it happen.

In the PacVargas match, Manny Pacquiao failed to give a knockout victory yet no one can attest that he showed everyone a good fight. By showing that his boxing prowess has not yet weakened, the 37-year old boxer manages to get the nod of judges with a unanimous win. This now leads to a match with his most controversial opponent- Floyd Mayweather who was apparently invited by Pacquiao to watch the boxing event.

Earlier reports claim that Bob Arum rules out the possibility of another ""Fight of The Century" to happen. In a Telegraph article, the boxing promoter said that Floyd Mayweather has already retired so another match with Pacquiao is next to impossible.

Yet another report from TMZ claims that the chance for Manny and Floyd to have a rematch is almost 75%. The confirmation is reported to have come from Bob Arum too although it was also said that no negotiations have been done about it. The same TMZ article likewise reveals that the camp of Pacquiao and Mayweather are now in good terms and Arum is seeing it as a good sign.

Are you hoping to see Manny Pacquiao and Floy Mayweather test each other's strength and skills on the ring again? If a Paquiao and Mayweather rematch will really happen, who will you place your bet on? Feel free to express your opinion in the comment box.
