'Deadpool’ Still the Best Superhero Movie Of 2016; Learn Why!

2016 was a year full superhero movie releases with Marvel, DC and X-Men all delivering a different style of action, humor, and fantastic movies in the cinemas. We witnessed comic book icons come to life where different never-been-seen characters were now shown on movies.

Cinemablend writes that one of the movies that stood out was sci-fi fiction film thriller and R-rated PG-13 superhero movie, Deadpool. The low budget movie brought home an amount of 760.3 million US dollars and has moved lots of fans, captured their hearts and attention.

One of the reasons why Wade Wilson's character, which was played by award-winning actor, Ryan Reynolds, was warmly loved and welcomed is because the movie starts as a standalone story. With an era of movie cliffhangers, sequels, trilogies and stories which are seemingly unending, Deadpool takes its own story and circulates around it. It sets itself apart from DC's "Batman vs Superman" and even Marvel's "Captain America: Civil War." Although other reports say that another installment is about to come where it features characters like Cable, Deadpool's main story has been starting from the opening scenes up to the rolling credits.

Deadpool's storyline was also simple and genuine that it allowed their characters to play their roles wittingly and smoothly. Its simplicity didn't pressure the movie itself, which gave a breathing room for previous director, Tim Miller and actor Ryan Reynolds to play the scenes naturally. While other superhero films were too complicated to understand, Deadpool kept the storyline streamlined and smooth, which was ultimately better for the film.

In other reports, the film's director, Tim Miller recently pulled away from the project, which was a big blow to its next installment. But fans need not worry as 20th Century Fox has eyed "John Wick" director, David Leitch to take his place. Rumors say that the movie will be released in January 2018. For now, fans will have to wait what's next Deadpool and company.
