Jessica Alba's Parenting Style: On Bonding & Spending Time With Kids Despite A Busy Schedule

As a woman who runs a billion-dollar business and keeps a Hollywood career, Jessica Alba struggles with juggling her schedule. But the mother-of-two has a trick on how she makes it work. Parents can learn from the actress' parenting style when it comes to bonding and spending time with the kids.

Jessica Alba reveals that she usually brings her daughters -- Honor, 8, and Haven, 5 -- to her business trips for The Honest Company. She sometimes brings only one of the children for that "special trip" and treat this like a sleepover with mommy.

For fun, Jessica Alba said that she would order room service and rent a movie at the hotel with her daughters. "I just try to make the time that I spend with them quality," the actress said, according to Us Weekly.

Alba's kids don't demand a lot and are usually entertained by the simple things such as a movies, a bath or walks outdoors. The family also enjoy snuggling and reading together, or gathering around the breakfast table to chat and eat.

Jessica Alba proudly shares that Honor and Haven are polar opposites when it comes to their characteristics. She embraces her daughters' diversity more than anything and notes how Haven is the goofy one and Honor is more "chill."

"Haven dances around like a maniac and then Honor just [vogues] in the mirror," the "Fantastic Four" actress said, according to UPI. The Hollywood mom shares the responsibility of rearing her kids with husband and producer Cash Warren, whom she married in 2008.

Jessica Alba wants to have a strong bond with her daughters as she did with her mom, Cathy, who also works for her personal care brand, The Honest Company. According to InStyle, the mompreneur and Cathy also travel together for business, which counts as her own bonding time with her mom.
