Following the Capcom Pro Tour North American Street Fighter V Finals at the Red Bull Battle Grounds, a teaser trailer apparently featuring Akuma. Reportedly, Akuma will be added to the "Street Fighter 5" roster as a DLC character.
In the teaser trailer, the kanji on Akuma's back is different from his usual "heaven" decal, but it is not new as it previously appeared on "Capcom vs. SNK 2" from the Shin Akuma character. According to TechnoBuffalo, the kanji on top means God, while the one on the bottom means man. In other words, the kanji reads something along the lines of "God above man." The kanji could also be a sign to indicate that the Shin Akuma transformation plays an important role for his character in "Street Fighter 5."
The DLC for Akuma will be made available at the PlayStation Experience at the Anaheim Convention Center on Dec. 3, 2016. Akuma's latest appearance was on "Tekken 7" where he surfaced as guest character. Additionally, Juri and Urien were also included to the roster of "SF V" this year. Akuma is most probably going to be the first DLC character added to the second season of "Street Fighter 5."
Akuma's addition to "SF V" now makes him playable in two of the latest mainstream fighting video games namely "Tekken 7" and "Street Fighter 5." His appearance in the latest installment of the "Tekken" series surprised fans as he played a pivotal role in the game's story line.
"Street Fighter 5" gets a solid 8.0 in a review by IGN. In the review, it is stated that "SF V" does a great job of mixing the classic fighting game fundamentals, and the more modern approach to the genre. However, the review also noted that "Street Fighter 5" had so many crucial features that were absent during its release.
