Godmother Taylor Swift Meet's Jamie King's Son Leo Thames For The First Time, Mom Calls Moment 'Bliss' [Photo]

The singer and composer Taylor Swift is up for another challenge as she fills the role of a godmother to Jamie King's second child. The singer has no bad blood for this child, but she has all the love and support for this little kid, who will look up to her as he grows up.

According to E! News, after almost two weeks since the new mom, Jamie, announced the birth of her baby boy, she was finally able to do a meet-up for Taylor and her son, Leo Thames. The event was special for King as she posted a photo in her Instagram with Taylor smiling and staring at King's newborn. The mom of two captioned the photo with, "My loves meet. Baby boy Leo Thames and his God Mother = Bliss. X."

According to Just Jared, the "Shake It Off" singer posted the same photo and captioned it with, "Meeting my boy:)" Taylor is obviously pleased on her first meeting with her godson.

Of course, the new godmother did not miss to capture her intimate moment with her godson. The "Blankspace" singer also posted a photo in her Instagram, with the new born's hand wrapping around her finger. She captioned that sweet photo with a line from her hit single, "Never Group Up." Taylor wrote, "Your little hand's wrapped around my finger and it's so quiet in the world tonight."

Back in March, when Jaime announced that she was expecting her second child and that her BFF would be the godmother, Swift throws a star-studded baby shower for the expectant mom, E! News has learned. Jaime believed Swift's sincerity and kindness, and this is the reason she chose her to be her second child 's godmother.

"I always thought if I were to have another child that she would be the ideal godmother because the way she not only treats me, but the way she treats other human beings," the still pregnant Jaime told E! News in another report during the premiere of the documentary "Dior and I."

King continued to praise Swift," She's so loving and so giving and so generous and she does everything from her heart and she's incredibly brave and authentic. It's a very rare thing to come across." The expectant mom at that time believed that her son would be guided properly with Taylor as his godmother, "I know that [our baby] will always have a very good person and role model through her."

E! News concluded that with Swift being baby Leo Thames' godmother, the tot is definitely in for an "incredible childhood."
